The lever arm triggering the device becomes one with the door, making it easier to push open. The tapering of the side supports lightens the structure, reducing its bulk. Black nylon, anodised extruded aluminium, polished chrome-plated aluminium and AISI 304 stainless steel are materials used in the LP, LA and LX models.
